Clare said… - Elizabeth - I'm actually writing an announcement now that will be sent out about how the campaign works and what I'm doing to further it.
I've already reached out to a couple smaller magazines (like Venus Zine (www.venuszine.com) and Nylon) and have invited them to join in a discussion about this topic.
After we reach more members, I want to start contacting the big kids, like Cosmo, Glamour etc. I have the contact information for the magazine's lifestyle and health editors, so I'm starting with them.
Finally, yes the pledge is that if someone agrees to do this, we will all buy at least 2 copies of the issue. February is National Body Awareness month, so I'm hoping that maybe the campaign could coincide with that event!
